Victor Nelson
President
Victor founded Stonerock Construction in 2010 from the ground up and continues to drive its growth, performance, and reputation for excellence. Prior to forming Stonerock Construction, Victor held key roles at Real Mex Restaurants, Ensign Group, Elephant Bar Restaurants, and Lowe Enterprises – gaining valuable industry insight and leadership experience that helped shape the foundation of his success in construction management.
Victor leads Stonerock Construction with full executive oversight and P&L responsibility, managing all aspects of operations, finance, sales, marketing, and client delivery. He brings extensive experience directing retail, commercial, healthcare and hospitality construction projects across California, Washington, and Wisconsin, including remodels, renovations, capital improvements, and tenant enhancements.
He oversees all phases of construction – from proposals and conceptual planning through design, construction, and closeout – ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance. Victor supervises his in-house team and manages subcontract negotiations, cost estimating, safety protocols, and regulatory documentation.
With a focus on delivering value, maintaining budgets, and exceeding client expectations, he acts as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
Joseph J. Adornetto
Director of Construction
Joe Adornetto has been a dedicated professional in the construction industry for over forty years of hands-on experience. Joe has managed both new construction and renovation projects across a wide range of sectors, including retail, commercial, hospitality, industrial, and residential.
As Director of Construction of Stonerock General Contractors, Joe oversees the full construction cycle - from the initial bidding process through active construction to final project closeout. His role also includes the in-depth review of architectural, structural, and design plans in collaboration with architects and engineers to ensure project feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
Before joining Stonerock, Joe served as President and Owner of Adorn Construction from 1994 – 2020. In that role, he was directly responsible for contract negotiations with owners, developers, subcontractors, and suppliers. He regularly conducted site visits to manage construction timelines, coordinate design changes, liaise with government agencies, and maintain strong client relationships. He also managed all aspects of project accounting and client invoicing.
Following the successful closure of Adorn Construction and a brief retirement, Joe chose to merge his experience with the established expertise and reputation of Victor Nelson and Stonerock General Contractors. Throughout his career, Joe cultivated long-standing relationships with a loyal client base - an achievement that reflects his commitment to excellence and his ability to lead teams that consistently deliver outstanding results.
